University of Southampton

Southampton is a UK top 15 research-led University and is ranked 81st in the world by the QS World Rankings 2015/16 and 14th in the 2016 Guardian University Guide for its strengths in Engineering, Electronics, Science, Medicine, Law, Management, Education, Art, Humanities and Social Sciences. The University is internationally renowned for its pioneering research, first class facilities and expert teaching. Southampton’s academic staff are at the cutting edge of their fields and have close links to business and industry. The University provides a cosmopolitan and culturally diverse environment in which to study. It has more than 23,000 students, of which over 6,500 are from outside the UK representing more than 135 countries.

After graduating from University of Southampton in 2012 with a BA Hons in English Literature, Sian began her career in Higher Education with a Marketing internship within the University. Since then, she has progressed into International student recruitment and currently works in the International Office at University of Southampton, managing recruitment and marketing for the USA and Canada. Prior to her current role, Sian looked after international student recruitment within an international school in the Southampton area, primarily focusing on the East Asia region.
